Breaking Chains Children Foundation is dedicated to doing everything within its power to ensure that abandoned children in West Africa are taken care of, but very little will be achieved without the help of donations and volunteers. Your involvement on behalf of children can start a ripple of change – changing the lives of children and the future we all share.
For individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of these children, this is the perfect time to come up and stand with us. Little donations ranging from money to food items to clothing will go a long way in helping the children have a better life. Volunteers with skillsets and vocational abilities will also be highly appreciated.
- Donate: A heartwarming gift of cash will go a long way to provide food, shelter, and education for children in marginalized areas of West Africa. You can designate funds to emergency response, make an unrestricted annual gift, or recommend recurring payments to a special appeal.
- Volunteer: These children need a lot of support, care, and words of encouragement. One day spent with a child reading stories to him/her will go a long way to make them happy. Skillsets such as tailoring, bead making, knitting, etc. will go a long way to help keep them busy and productive.
- Sponsor a child: Provide an orphaned or abandoned child a loving family and you will provide them hope and a better chance of succeeding in life. Children without parental support are some of the world’s most vulnerable citizens. They are at risk of poverty, homelessness, exploitation, and abuse. Many do not attend a school or have access to even the most basic healthcare. Millions end up on the streets with no safety nets and no protection. Do your part today.
- Host an event: Special events such as birthday celebrations, sports events or get together for the children will help teach them more about cooperation, healthy competition, teamwork and a lot more, that they are not exposed to in the streets. In the absence of the children, a fundraiser can be held to help raise funds to support and provide a better life for the abandoned children in West Africa.
